A. Hey Tina! Greets from Finland!Yeah, we're still partying over here, but it's so goddamn cold over here already, so we have to stay indoors now, hahaha!
Q. When you drink beer do you prefer to drink the beer from the bottle, a Keg or the Barrel?
A. We prefer bottles, but anything is good, as long as beer is cold and it doesn't stop running out!hahaha!
Tina: You will love to be in Canada next month our major Oktoberfest season kicks off with all kinds Beer from both the Keg and the Barrel. It's a huge celebration of fun, parties, tons of beer and delicious food.
Corrupted Truth: Sounds like a great party!You don't need anything else, than a good music, friends and a lots of beer!And a hangover next day, and trying to figure out, what the hell did you do on that party!?You should book us over there to play some music and party, hahaha!
Q. Can you tell us about your Demo Corrupted Truth have you made any CD's or just made your Demo available for download from your myspace page?
A. We've made all our demos available for download on our myspace site. We are just about to release our new, and really great hard rock demo "Been There...Done That" on our site, it has 3 songs, and I really think, that everyone who likes hard rock, will like this one...
Q. Are you working on a full length Corrupted Truth CD currently?
A. Well, we have enough material for that, and I really hope that we could go to the studios and record all those songs for one album. It should be great! But right now, we'll continuing to release new material through our site.
Q. Who writes your songs and is it just social issues and relationships that you write about in your lyrics?
A. Well, I write almost all the lyrics for the songs. I'm trying to keep lyrics fun, so if you're having a party, nobody would fall asleep!But the ideas for the riffs comes usually, when we're just jamming and training some new material together. We're trying to keep the music simple, but powerful. If you're tired of listening 15 minutes guitar solos, then we're your band, hahaha!
Q. Whats your live performances like, do you have any upcoming shows?
A. We'll we haven't been playing live for the pretty long time, 'cause we had to record that demo and it has been delayed, but finally it's really coming out! But we'll start to tour again, when we get that demo out! We'll try to do anything, to keep people happy and satisfied, and just have a great time with us.
Q. I understand that you won a recent contest Band for the Day can you tell our readers about that contest?
A. Yeah, we've won that contest couple of times, the idea on that contest is to search our band from "BFTD" website, and text your vote to support our band, so we'll win it again, hahaha.
Q. Can fans request Corrupted Truth on any Radio stations currently?
A. Unfortunately not, 'cause the idea is right now to get that demo out and after that start sending that to any record labels, radio stations and start touring, 'cause it really is gonna be that great demo.
Q. What is the music scene like in Finland and what does the band like to see more of or less of in the types of popular music genres?
A. Well, we have a lot of love metal bands over here, who sings the usual "love hurts" songs, hahaha. And metal scene is still doing good over here too. I really would like to see hard rock scene rise again all over the world actually. Good hard rock bands are hard to find anywhere in the world really, and it's a sad sad thing. If I could choose, I'd like to get rid of all techno music. It gives me a headache, hahaha!
Q. Do you have any wild beer drinking stories to tell from your live performances?
A. Yeah, we have tons of stories, but the wildest ones would be explicit content, hahaha! You have to come see us!
Q. I noticed that your music sounds like a little bit of Motorhead and Metallica influences and that its more heavy metal and death metal what are the bands main influences in music?
A. I'm glad that you brought this up. You're right, Motörhead is one of the biggest influences in our music. Good thing in our band is, that all of our guys listens to different music, we'll get ideas from all rock genres and we can use them. For example, Teemu listens to Guns'n'Roses, I like Motörhead and Ile likes Cannibal Corpse, see what I mean?hahaha!But the main thing is really to keep it simple.
Q. With Henkka on Vocal and Bass, Lle on Drums and Teemu on Guitar whats a typical beer day like in the recording studio for Corrupted Truth?
A. Oh, the beer day in the studio. We'd go to the studio at 12 am, open our first beer of the day, tune up the instruments. Open another beer. Start jamming a little bit. Open another beer. Start recordings. Open another beer, and start grilling some food. Continue to record, and open another beer. And after we're finished recordings for the day, we'd head to the bar. That's it!And the next day starts the same, with hangover ofcourse, hahaha!
Q. I understand that you are unsigned is Corrupted Truth seeking a record label or a distribution deal?
A. Yeah, that's right, we're unsigned right now, but we're gonna start sending our new demo to any record labels possible and hopefully someone is interested, and we'd get distribution deal aswell.
Q. A record label endorsed by your favourite beer drink would be nice EH?
A. Yeah, that would a dream come true!hahaha!
Q. Will Corrupted Truth set up a Zazzle Store www.Zazzle.com in the future to sell CD's and Corrupted Truth merchandise online through the internet?
A. Of course, that would be a great idea! We're pretty terrible with the computers, so I have to take a look of that Zazzle.com!hahaha!
Q. Any plans to open up a Corrupted Truth Brewery in the Future to sell Beer World Wide?
A. Even better idea, hahaha! I could be a test taster for the beers!
