Jesus Bones 69: 4. How long have you all known each other? How did you meet? When did you form your band? What inspired you to make music together?
DECIBAL POINT: Well we have known each other for a number of years through different outlets Dan and Brett hooked up through some mutual friends in 2002, they tried numerous drumers out but no fit in the way they needed , enter myself Jan '05 I had just moved out here from GA and answered an add in the stranger DOUBLE BASS DRUMMER NEEDED so I called we jammed once and my drums never moved, 2 and half years later we decide to add a new family member to the band enter johnny tuss from everett, has come in to fill up our sound. and now nearly 3 years in we have enjoyed many high points and low point in the local meat/rock scene

Jesus Bones 69: 6. What can you tell me about your instruments? (i.e., Are you subject to brand loyalty or will you play with whatever's available? What made you choose the instruments you have now? Was it cost or was it a style/model/brand/color preference?
DECIBAL POINT: I personally am subject band loyalty just becuse of my influences, and thats all I need I know that they fell their gear is an extention of then selves and once you play on one piece for so long its hard to let your ear adjust to a new configuration.
Jesus Bones 69: 7. Where have you performed? What are your favorite and least favorite venues? Do you have any upcoming shows?
DECIBAL POINT: Well lets see where to begin, we have played everywhere in seattle but just a few clubs which I am not mentioning mainly because we havent played there ,they dont promote us I dont promote them. I think our favorite place to play would be bubbas roadhouse in sultan wa we r always treated with love and respect there always have great turnouts and dont have to worry about promoters who think that they can do this shit with out us "the bands", as far as least fav not gonna say cause not in the bizz of bashing but we do have places we will never go back to.
Jesus Bones 69: 8. Which songs do you perform most frequently? Do you ever play any covers? Do you have a set play list?
DECIBAL POINT: Well we have about 17 songs to choose from ( only 3 years old) we normally play a 10-12 song set depend ing on our time slot , place and how much time we have.
We normally do have a set play list but sometime stray from it if things are not going so well, we dp lay a few covers like to give the fans someting to be familiar with if they have never heard our band before.
Jesus Bones 69: 9. Who writes your songs? What are the main themes or topics for most of your songs? Do you think these topics will change over time?

DECIBAL POINT: Our biggest challenge as a band is trying to earn repsect from the other bands in the scene we think we kinda get overlooked alot of the time because were not doing the same shit that everyone else is but I am not sure why people want to have just one flavor to their sandwhich they are always better with 3 diff types of meat.
Jesus Bones 69: 14. What's your ultimate direction for your band? Are you seeking fame and fortune?
