HMTV Canada Tina: 1. Hi Social Disease; Congradulations on your new EP - Spreading The Disease, how are the fans reacting to your new Album, can you plug in your main web addresses so fans can access your music?
Social Disease: Thank you! The EP is doing great it is being well received by fans and media alike, Our official website is currently being constructed and will be up and running sometime in Jan 2008
HMTV Canada Tina: 2. Where did your unique band name Social Disease originate from?
Social Disease: My unique pea sized brain
HMTV Canada Tina: 3. Who are the current members of your band and the respective instrument of each band member?
Social Disease: On Drums we have Dave Vokey, Bass is Dank, And on Lead Guitars we have Rod Davis and Metal Murrin
HMTV Canada Tina: 4. How did you become connected to make music?
Social Disease: I met Murrin and Davis thru a local music paper in April 2006, We found a bassist in Dank and they had a drummer. The group was named Shovelhead we played a few gigs around Vancouver and then I came up with the Social Disease moniker
HMTV Canada Tina: 5. What are your musical influences?
Social Disease: Metallica, Motorhead, Megadeth, Slayer, Judas Priest, Iron Madien , Guns n Roses, Sex Pistols
HMTV Canada Tina: 6. Do you have a record label?
Social Disease: Noise Records (indie)
MTV Canada Tina: 7. Are you a member of any music organizations within Canada?
Social Disease: Socan
HMTV Canada Tina: 8. What can you tell me about your instruments, recording environment?
Social Disease: You wanna know about my instrument? Well its quite flemmy at the moment. The recording enviroment was very quick due to our low budget it was kinda like armed robbery we were in and out!
HMTV Canada Tina: 9. Will you continue to work with Engineer Dean Maher (AC/DC, Slayer) along with producer Adam Biggs in your second EP?
Social Disease: Anything's possible Dean and Adam are both good friends of ours.
HMTV Canada Tina: 10. Who writes your songs?
Social Disease: I write the lyrics and melodys and Murrin and Davis come up with the riffs.
HMTV Canada Tina: 11. What are the main themes or topics for most of your songs?
Social Disease: Dark and Disturbed!
HMTV Canada Tina: 12. Do you think these topics will change over time?
Social Disease: Hope not

Social Disease: Nov 10 Croation Centre with Threat Signal, Nov 15 The Red Room theater with Shocore, and a small Club show Nov 16th
HMTV Canada Tina: 17. Which songs do you perform frequently? Do you have a set playlist?
Social Disease: Love or War, Social Disease, Into the flood and Broken are set staples. Will mix the setlist up and throw in a different cover each show
HMTV Canada Tina: 18. What are your rehearsals generally like, do you have a set time in which you practice each week?
Social Disease: Whats a set time nobody in this band owns a fuckin watch
HMTV Canada Tina: 19. How has your music evolved since you first began playing music together?
Social Disease: It is alot Heavier and more melodic , Were looking forward to recording again
HMTV Canada Tina: 20. What is most important to you in your band? Where do you hope to be in the future?
Social Disease: To keep it together and maintain our friendships within the band
HMTV Canada Tina: 21. How is the internet helping spread the word out about Social Disease? Do you find the Internet an effective marketing tool for your band?
Social Disease: Internet is a huge tool! Even more than CC (private joke) haha

HMTV Canada Tina: 23. What advice do you have for young musicians that want to form their own bands?
Social Disease: Well kids grandpa stone says:stay the fuck away from Hard drugs, just smoke herb
