Candy Bones and Nullifer: Spectrum-X means the ghost without a name. We didn't choose it because we formed a band and we were looking for a name, it just happened...'cause Spectrum-X is more than a band. It's a living creature... We know each other longer than you can imagine....
HMTV Lisa: 2. When did you form your band? What inspired you to make music together >and who are your current band members?
Candy Bones and Nullifer: Spectrum-X was born almost 4 years ago. Exactly When Nullifer left the USA to join me here in Italy. We used to see strange moving shadows in our room at night, with candlelight.. those inspired us to form Spectrum-X.
2 new members just entered the band a few months ago: Simon Garth (guitar) and Andrew Karloff (bass). Nullifer is the singer and compose the drums and keyboards, and I sing and play bass and help with the keyboards. Oh, I forgot the live terror...I do that too.
HMTV Lisa: 3. Tell us about your unique style style of music your major influences? >How has your music evolved or changed since you first began playing? Who writes your songs?
Candy Bones and Nullifer: Since now, me and Nullifer wrote everything. From now on, the new 2 members will put their parts in the future songs. We have always been inspired from strange obscure things....ghosts, magic,atmospheres, ancient places.... At the beginning, years ago, our project was more "metal" there was just a thin line of keyboards. Now it evolved in something more complete, I can say. We use more keyboards and I started singing too, which iis a thing that our fans seem to appreciate alot. They say my voice and Nullifer's sound great together.
HMTV Lisa: 4. You have a Cd out right now. Tell us a little about it.
Candy Bones and Nullifer: Tea Party With Zombies: fairytales of horror, haunting and destruction. Every song is alittle scary story. Every song is marked with blood. Every song comes from far away...Do i need to add more? Tea Party With Zombies is something unique! You can't find something like that somewhere else!
HMTV Lisa: 5. They are some great tracks on the CD. You guys are shooting a video in a few months. What song will you be doing for the video. And what should we expect from this video?
Candy Bones and Nullifer:the song is top secret for now. Its a brand new song, which the 2 new members contribute in writing to adding guitar and bass. Its really really a crazy song...You can't even imagine, even if you try hard you could never guess what this is about! The video will be the best video ever ! I can assure you that.
HMTV Lisa: 6. Im sure you guys have performed around Europe. Is there any plans of doing an American tour anytime soon?
Candy Bones and Nullifer: Touring the USA will take a loooong time just to set things up. please american fans, be patient...we want to play in the USA, but can't do it right now. Need a little more time!
HMTV Lisa: 7. Where do you see Spectrum X in 5 years?
Candy Bones and Nullifer: NO ANSWER.
HMTV Lisa: 8. Do you have any remixes or are working on any? Complilation experiences good or bad ones?
Candy Bones and Nullifer: Not at the moment.
HMTV Lisa: 9. You have posted your video interview with fans asking you questions.Will we see more of those in the future?
Candy Bones and Nullifer: of course. We love doing video interviews.Expect more for sure.
HMTV Lisa: 10. What do you think of the current Gothic/EBM/Industrial/ Noise/Synthpop/Metal music scene today? Are you affiliated with any dark underground scenes?
Candy Bones and Nullifer: We like that kind of music. Its going very well especially in Germany. We have a side project called TraumaFactor that is ebm, pure ebm. Its only me and Null. But its not that we put much effort in that project like in Spectrum-X. TraumaFactor is for fun, and to play in clubs once in a while.
HMTV Lisa: 11. From your experience is there a way bands interact with each other or does it depend on something? There are bands that are just starting out bigger bands will try hard to promote their friends and there are bands that are cool with cross promoting each other inspite of all the pressure. Do you have any friends that are doing something really exciting in the music scent that you think people should be aware of?
Candy Bones and Nullifer: No Answer.
HMTV Lisa: 12.How do you like our music site at Hollywood Music TV? What advice do you have for people who want to form their own bands?
Candy Bones and Nullifer: Don't expect anything from anyone. No one is gonna give you anything for free. Maybe at the beginning they make you think that, but believe me, they will just forget about it and do their own business. You have to work veeeery hard by yourself. Thats the only advice for bands we have.
HMTV Lisa: 13. There is a kind of ancient connection vibe to singer,songwriters, something that ties the bands to write about their personal experiences inspirations worst experiences while performing or traveling , do you ever collaborate on these experiences in your music?
Candy Bones and Nullifer: Sometimes our experiences seep into the music.
