Sworn Enemy Sal: If you think that one is brutal wait till you hear the rest its fucken killer.
Metal Kel: 4. When will it be released?
Sworn Enemy Sal: It should be out sometime around feb 12th i believe.
Metal Kel: 5. How long have you been working on it?
Sworn Enemy Sal: This one we put in some hours for I would have to say about 3 months worth.
Metal Kel: 6. Tell us about it?
Sworn Enemy Sal: Well its just one of those records that you really cant tell about you basically have to just pick one up for yourself and listen..I guarantee you'll be blown away.
Metal Kel: 7. Do you have a fav. Trak?
Sworn Enemy Sal: Yean my favorite track is talk is cheap.
Metal Kel: 8. How has "Maniacal" evolved since "The Beginning of the end"?
Sworn Enemy Sal: To me I would have to say tat this is the next progression of what you think our next record should be with a few more leads and a little more thrashy sounding.
Metal Kel: 9. Who produced it?
Sworn Enemy Sal: We had Tim Lambesis from as I lay dying and Joey Z from life of agony on this one.
Metal Kel: 10. What label are you signed to currently?
Sworn Enemy Sal: We just inked a new deal with century media so we are gonna see what comes of this bond.
Metal Kel: 11. And your on tour promoting it now here in the U.S.? Then your heading to Europe in Dec. 2007?
Sworn Enemy Sal: Well we just did a few shows over to warm up and get ready for when we destroy europe.
Metal Kel: 12. Sworn Enemy rocked Europe earlier this summer also, how was it?
Sworn Enemy Sal: It was one of the best times I had on tour the festivals were amazing playing to so many people day after day and night after night.
Metal Kel: 13. What Country was your fav.?
Sworn Enemy Sal: They are all my favorite its hard to pck any one the best but if I had to choose one I would say poland they are so crazy and amazing over there.
Metal Kel: 14. How is the metal scene there? Compared to the U.S.?
Sworn Enemy Sal: In europe it seems to me they are way more into it than over here..they haven't been jaded yet like lot of people over here have.
Metal Kel: 15. Have there been any major changes within the band since your last album, members, labels, etc?
Sworn Enemy Sal: Well we have a new drummer tearing shit up for us now and we have a new label behind and we have new management so with all these things in place we look forward to tearing this industry a new ashole.

Sworn Enemy Sal: Thats impossible it would take to long to write down..formed in 1999 released 2 ep's on stillborn records (jamey hatebreed's label) got signed to elktra records an released "As real as it gets" label folded got signed to abacus records released "Begining of the end" label folded now with century media releasing new record in feb titled "Maniacal"!

Sworn Enemy Sal: Sworn Enemy is 5 guys that get up on the stage night after night and just pound shit in your ears.
Metal Kel: 18. When was your band created? And by who?
Sworn Enemy Sal: 1999 by me and my guitar player Lorenzo.
Metal Kel: 19. Who choose the name?
Sworn Enemy Sal: It was a band collective with the help of Jamey Jasta.
Metal Kel: 20. Is there a reason, i.e. your making a statement, or you just like the sound of it?
Sworn Enemy Sal: We just like the way it sounded .. it had an evil undertone.
Metal Kel: 21. Have you ever changed it or performed under another name?
Sworn Enemy Sal: Nope thats only for big bands to play under false names.
Metal Kel: 22. How long have you all known each other?
Sworn Enemy Sal: We've all known each other for quite some time except the drummer he is the new guy.

Metal Kel: 23. How did you meet?
Sworn Enemy Sal: From going to shows and playing shows and from the neighborhood.
Metal Kel: 24. Who makes most of the creative decisions?
Sworn Enemy Sal: Lorenzo, Jamen and myself.
Metal Kel: 25. How would you describe your sound?
Sworn Enemy Sal: Agressive, heavy, brutal, thrashing underground sound
Metal Kel: 26. Do you have a preference in the brand of instruments you use?
Sworn Enemy Sal: I dont play any instrument so to me it doesnt matter I'm just the singer gimme a mic and I'm set.
Metal Kel: 27. Who composes your material?
Sworn Enemy Sal: We do as band collectively.
Metal Kel: 28. Do you have any themes or topics for most of your songs?
Sworn Enemy Sal: Whatever comes to mind at that moment.
Metal Kel: 29. What inspired you to be a musician, and metal imparticular?
Sworn Enemy Sal: Just something I got into at a young age and always stuck with it.
Metal Kel: 30. Who are your major influences?
Sworn Enemy Sal: Pantera, Slayer, Cromags and Biohazard.
Metal Kel: 31. Is there anyone, if given the chance, you would like to perform with in the future?
Sworn Enemy Sal: I've performed with everyone I could want except one and I wont get that chance too.. I wanna play with Pantera.
Metal Kel: 32. When preparing for a tour, how often do you rehearse? What are they generally like? Strictly business, or partytime?
Sworn Enemy Sal: Well we usually like 2 practices before we leave for a tour and its strictly business till the last half hour lol.

Metal Kel: 33. When did you first notice Sworny Enemy generate some serious attention?
Sworn Enemy Sal: It was 6years ago when we played the superbowl of hardcore in dc .. at the time it was the most people we have ever played in front of and it wa a sick fucken set.
Metal Kel: 34. When did you release your first album?
Sworn Enemy Sal: As real as it gets came out in 2003.
Metal Kel: 35. Under what label?
Sworn Enemy Sal: It was released on elektra records.

Metal Kel: 36. Was that one of the most exciting/memorable most in life?
Sworn Enemy Sal: It was cause later that year we were invited to play on ozzfest which was a big deal to us.
Metal Kel: 37. How many albums/videos have you released altogether?
Sworn Enemy Sal: We have released 3 records 2 ep's and 4 videos so far to date.
Metal Kel: 38. Whats are you most proud of so far?
Sworn Enemy Sal: That I play in a band and people actually listen to me and consider me famous in some weird way.
Metal Kel: 39. How long have you been touring?
Sworn Enemy Sal: I've been touring for 7 years now.
Metal Kel: 40. Whats the most insane memory you have while doin a tour?
Sworn Enemy Sal: Remember, were not censored so feel free to tell it like it is!
ha ha I'm the quiet guy in the band so I dont have anything really insane to mention.
Kel: 41. Do you ever grind each others nerves being so close all the time?
Sworn Enemy Sal: That happens every day when you see someone for so long in such cramped quarters.
Metal Kel: 42. When touring, do you have a set play list, or is more do you prefer to mix it up an keep it interesting?
Sworn Enemy Sal: We basically have a set playlist we use.
Metal Kel: 43. What song to you perform the? Is that your fav?
Sworn Enemy Sal: My favorite one to play is sworn enemy just for the fact that it has so much energy to it.
Metal Kel: 44. Do you ever play covers?
Sworn Enemy Sal: We used to play 1 cover from this band we love but we stopped playing it.
Metal Kel: 45. Whats your ultimate goal?
Sworn Enemy Sal: TOTAL WORLD DOMINATION.

Sworn Enemy Sal: Just be true to yourself and never giv up on your dreams and aspirations.
